New ‘Items’ Tab in iOS 13’s Find My App for Apple Tags Detailed

Screenshots of “Items” tab in Apple’s Find My app in iOS 13 has been published by MacRumors. The new tab is meant for Apple Tags, a Tile-like tracker on which the company is working on.

Right now, the Find My app has “People” and “Devices” tab and once Apple Tags is announced and released, a new “Items” tab will join the list. It will replace the “Me” tab which will then be shown as an avatar on the map.

From the “Items” tab, users will be able to add ‘B389,’ the internal codename for Apple Tags and use it to keep track of their everyday items. Whenever a tile goes out of the range of the iPhone, the Find My app will send a notification to users informing them about it. They can then tap a button in the app which will lead the tracker to start chiming.

If that does not work and one is still unable to find the tracker, it can then be put into Lost Mode. Then, whenever another iPhone user goes near that tag, they will be shown the contact information of that item owner. The location information of the tag will also be relayed to the original owner of the tag.

Apple will also make use of ARKit for setting up Apple Tags, though it is unclear how. One of the strings in iOS 13 reads “Walk around several feet and move your iPhone up and down until a balloon comes into view” which adds credence to this rumor. Also Read:deepnude alternatives

Apple was expected to announce Apple Tags at its iPhone event last week but that did not happen. The company will now likely announce the tags at a separate media event in October where it is also expected to showcase the new 16-inch MacBook Pro. The tags will make use of Ultra Wideband technology and will offer advance location tracking functionality for iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro users as it comes with Apple’s new U1 chip.

How to Flash Android Phone using PC Software

One beauty of Android is that it allows endless possibilities in terms of customization. This is what makes it so popular; you could have two Android phones from the same company that both look the same from the outside but are completely opposite in terms of how the UI (User Interface) looks.

One way of changing how your phone feels is by flashing the device. It may sound technical and a daunting task however, in reality, it is quite simple to flash your device. What exactly does it mean to "flash" your device? Put simply, you will install a custom ROM on your device. Essentially, you will be changing your current version of Android to a modified version; this could be from your device's manufacturer (Samsung, Google, LG, etc) or one made by the android community.

Part 1. Reasons & Risks of Flashing Android Phone

Part 2. Preparation Before Flashing Android Phone using PC Software

Prerequisite 1: Installing USB Drivers

Prerequisite 2: Unlocking the Bootloader

Part 3. How to Flash Android Phone using PC Software

Method 1: Flashing via iMyFone Fixppo (Easiest + Fastest)

Method 2: Flashing via SP Flash Tool (MediaTek Devices) (Difficult)

Method 3: Flashing via Odin (Samsung Devices) (Difficult)
Part 1. Reasons & Risks of Flashing Android Phone

Before you jump straight into flashing your device, you should be aware of the reasons as to why someone would like to flash their device but also the risks that come with flashing your phone.

Bloatware: One main reason to flash your device is to remove any bloatware that comes with the device. As you are installing a custom ROM, you will be able to remove the bloatware.

Customization: A new ROM may allow you to customize your device to the most precise detail you want. It will also give your phone a different feel.

Performance: Normally, you would not be able to change how your CPU and GPU behave. However, a custom ROM may allow you to overclock your CPU and GPU to optimize the performance of these components for activities such as gaming. Battery life can also be increased as background activity can be reduced when the device is not being used.

Updates: Most Android devices will stop receiving updates after a few years of release but if you install a community made custom ROM, you will be receiving updates more often and for longer.

All of this does come with some risks that you should carefully consider before flashing your device.

Malfunctions: Some device features, such as some preinstalled applications may not be compatible with the custom ROM so will not be able to function.

Warranty: Flashing your phone will almost always void your warranty. The manufacturer will not repair an issue with the device even if it is not related to the installation of a custom ROM.

Compatibility: Especially for less popular devices, not all custom ROMs may be compatible with your device.

Note: You WILL lose all data on your device when flashing the device. Make sure you create a backup of all the data on your device separately.

This article will show you how to flash your android device using iMyFone Fixppo, SP Flash Tool, and Odin. The Fixppo software is the easiest and fastest method for any user to repair a dead device and flashing firmware onto it. It automatically downloads the firmware, which means you are not at risk of downloading malicious software. It also completes the difficult steps required when using software such as Odin (see further below) so that you can repair your device as soon as possible.
Part 2. Preparation Before Flashing Android Phone using PC Software

Check the requirements below before you start to flash your phone.

The device you want to flash

PC

USB Cable for your device

Unlocked Bootloader

Flashing software

Android USB Drivers

Custom ROM downloaded

If you use iMyFone Fixppo for Android, then no need to install Android USB drivers and download ROM.)

Before following any of these methods, make sure your bootloader is unlocked and you have Android USB drivers installed for your device. Make sure that your device's battery is above 50% before doing this.
Prerequisite 1: Installing USB Drivers

Samsung devices:

Download the Samsung USB drivers from the Samsung developer's website.

Extract the zip file by right-clicking it (on windows), choosing "extract all" and then clicking extract.

Open the extracted folder and run the ".exe" file.

Click next, choose your language and click install. Wait for the installation to complete and click finish.

MTK Devices:

Download the Android CDC driver file from online and extract it (right-click, choose to extract all and extract).

Open device manager by searching for it in Windows or alternatively by searching for "device manager" in Control Panel.

In the device manager, click on your Computer's name, click on the action button and "Add legacy hardware".

Click on the "Next" button, choose the "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)" and click next.

Choose the "have disk" option, click on "browse", locate the extracted driver folder and click on the "Android Gadget CDC Driver" file.

Click on "OK", "next", wait for the driver to install and click "finish".

If you get a Windows security box, click on "Install this driver software anyway".
Prerequisite 2: Unlocking the Bootloader

Samsung devices come with an unlocked bootloader, so you do not need to follow these steps. Here is a general guide.

Download and install Android SDK tools.

Download the drivers for your device (these can be found from your manufacturer's website).

Enable developer's options and then enable USB Debugging in the developer's options menu on your device.

Get the unlock key for your device from your manufacturer's website.

Use command prompt to unlock the bootloader via fastboot commands.

Searching Google for your device's bootloader unlocking method will give you a more in-depth method that you can follow.

This iPhone 11 Concept With Horizontal Camera System, 3D Apple Logo Is Straight From the Future

Last week, we saw an iPhone 11 concept with a horizontal camera setup at the rear. Building on that same concept, ConceptsiPhone is now out with an iPhone 11 concept envisioned by Bassam Nasser that further builds on the same design language.

This iPhone 11 concept envisions the handset with a horizontal camera setup with a 3D Apple logo located on the left side. It is an interesting setup that definitely looks unique and refreshing compared to other concepts that we have seen.

The concept iPhone lacks a notch at the front for a full-view display. It is unclear what exactly happens with the TrueDepth camera system since there’s no notch.

Apple is expected to reduce the size of the notch on its 2020 iPhones but that’s about it. It will be interesting to see how Apple gets rid of the notch on its future iPhones as it required to house the TrueDepth camera system.

This is one of those concepts that looks good in videos but is unlikely to turn into a reality due to various technological limitations. Leaked renders have all but confirmed that the 2019 iPhone 11 will look very similar to the existing iPhone XS, with only some minor enhancements.

Nonetheless, one can at least hope that for 2020 or future iPhones after that, Apple ends up switching to a horizontal camera setup on its iPhone lineup as it looks notably better than the current vertical camera layout as seen on the iPhone X/XS series.

Poll: How Is iOS 13 Beta 4? Is It Still Buggy?

Last week, Apple released iOS 13 beta 4 to the public. While the first few beta releases of iOS 13 were a bit buggy, the latest beta build seems to bring about some major improvements in terms of bug fixes and stability improvements.

When Apple released the first iOS 12 beta last year, many were surprised with just how stable and bug-free it was. This year though, most users who upgraded to the initial iOS 13 beta were in for a rude shock with the sheer number of bugs it had. The second and third beta builds were no better in this regard and left a number of critical bugs unresolved.

Since iOS 13 is a massive update in terms of features, it does make sense that the initial beta builds of the OS are buggy. In comparison, iOS 12 packed relatively fewer features and focused more on speed improvements which is why it makes sense as to why its initial beta builds were relatively bug-free.

While iOS 13 beta 4 has fixed a number of bugs, it is still not good enough for use as a daily driver. Some of the lingering bugs make the device very frustrating to use and hamper usability. The good thing is that with the public release of iOS 13 a couple of months away, Apple is now likely focusing only on bug fixes and the next few beta builds of iOS 13 should be a major step up in terms of stability.read more:anime heaven eu

Instagram Will Issue a Warning before Deleting Accounts for Policy Violations

Instagram has announced a new set of rules when it comes to deleting accounts for hate speech, nudity or any other violations. Unlike before Instagram will issue a warning to users before deleting their account.

The new changes are expected to help Instagram zero in and delete accounts that are flagged for a certain number of violations in a given time period. The new rule will be added to the existing policy.

Under our existing policy, we disable accounts that have a certain percentage of violating content. We are now rolling out a new policy where, in addition to removing accounts with a certain percentage of violating content, we will also remove accounts with a certain number of violations within a window of time. Similarly to how policies are enforced on Facebook, this change will allow us to enforce our policies more consistently and hold people accountable for what they post on Instagram.

That apart, Instagram is also introducing a new notification process which will warn the users if their account is likely to be deleted. In many cases, this will help Instagram users to correct their behaviour and avoid deletion. Moreover, they will be able to appeal for violations of our nudity and pornography, bullying and harassment, hate speech, drug sales, and counter-terrorism policies.
