Most reviews for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus


Most reviews for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus claimed the handsets have among the best smartphone cameras ever made, and yours truly believes alongside some Nokia PureView efforts that is true. What is not up for debate is that Apple is one of the leading companies in smartphone camera technology with its iSight shooter.
Apple bucks the current trend of the more megapixels the better by packing just 8 megapixels into its camera when rivals on Android and below are getting higher and higher. However, Cupertino could be ready to make its biggest camera jump in some time next year according to reliable Apple analyst John Gruber. He says that the company is preparing a new dual-lens camera module that could find its way onto the new iPhone model.
The specific thing I heard is that next year's camera might be the biggest camera jump ever. I don't even know what sense this makes, but I've heard that it's some kind of weird two-lens system where the back camera uses two lenses and it somehow takes it up into DSLR quality imagery," according to Gruber.
This is no way official and Gruber admits that the source is third hand, he heard it "from a birdie of a birdie".
Some of you may remember that Apple has actually officially patented such a camera module that has an interchangeable lens system. The US Patent Office (USPTO) filing was put through back in April and allows for a larger lens to be attached to an iPhone, much like Sony's E-munt for its Xperia products.
